The major sports events in Cape Town



To most people, Cape Town is the place you go to when you need to bask in the sun, swim in the sea and experience the wonders that nature has to offer. The Cape Argus Pick 'n Pay Cycle Tour
This is one of the biggest cycling tours. It kicks off on an allocated Sunday in March every year. The event draws in lots of people from the world over. Every person that is above twelve years in age can participate in the event. The cycling tour kicks off at the city center and the route takes you round all of the amazing views that the Cape Peninsula has to offer. and some of the best holiday accommodation Cape Town has to offer The end point for the race is usually Green Point. There are usually spectators lined up along the whole route to cheer on cyclists every step of the way. This is one event that you do not want to miss. 

Cape Town Two Oceans Marathon
If you happen to be in Cape Town on the Saturday after Good Friday, this event is a must attend. It is essentially a half marathon as the race is 21km long. There is always a selected start point and the course winds around the town to cover the 21 kilometers. If you are a fan of running, this event will be a great way to exercise and test your endurance.

The top four golf courses in Cape Town



Cape Town is world famous for its many attractions and pleasant weather conditions. The town has more to offer in that there are some really great golf courses in it. The Atlantic Beach Golf is the top rated golf course in the city. It is located by the seaside across the Table Bay and on the upper side of the table mountain.
